OK, so I have this theory born of many realizations - we're born into in this human envelop - this is the 'lipstick'- and the spirit/soul you have is the 'as you are'.
When we see the lipstick, the "costume", of the body, we get confused and don't recognize who we are or what we're here to do any more.
Back on the 'mother ship' -- 'the other place' -- the actor without the costume knows exactly what the obstacles, the players, the events were.
So if we know what was what there -- all we need to do (catch breath) is realize that we just need to show up as ourselves, with lipstick, to know our true selves.
How's that for an extended, confusing metaphor. Live your life as you are (really are) but with a little embellishment for enhancement NOT for confusement (sic).
You feel the urge to player soccer - gosh, go play soccer. Feel the urge to learn to fly a helicopter - do it. Feel the urge to sit quietly in a mosque in a tee pee at the pinnacle in Machi Pichu. Do it. Your soul is saying, probably, yelling "do it".
Those of you who are going to an audition. Go as yourself, come as yourself. Don't forget the lipstick.
When we do what we are 'supposed', 'meant' to -- or are at least in alignment of our genuine selves that we will hit more and more green lights along on our paths.
I like red. Liptsick, not lights.
